Starting from humble beginnings back in the 1980’s, Model Uniforms founder Jack LaCarte had a vision for both his family and his business. Jack knew that both would benefit more from sticking together than drifting apart. Over two decades later, Jack’s belief in good, old- fashioned family values has paid off for his five sons and their thriving company.
Those five brothers: John, Mike, Dave, Joe and Dan have stuck together and today Model employs over three hundred employees across three states. From a single customer twenty five years ago, Model Uniforms now services thousands of customers in a variety of industries in northern West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and north eastern Ohio. Model Uniforms’ vast expansion did not simply happen from acquisitions of customers, but also from the belief in the vital importance of exceptional customer service and the drive to make that belief a reality. In fact, Model boasts one of the highest customer retention rates in the entire uniform rental industry.
How does Model accomplish this? As a company, we take pride in treating our customers not just as customers, but also as family. Model has used our vast knowledge of fabric care from our dry-cleaning history and implemented it into our uniform rental division. The result is state of the art technology combined with world class customer service, a combination we are quite proud of.
From the beginning, Model’s goal has been to not only be a successful company, but also one who truly cares for both their customers and employees. Jack’s vision of his sons “sticking together” was one that now provides thousands of people with the quality uniform service they deserve, and with the notion that they are more than just numbers on paper, but rather a part of Model’s ever-expanding family.
